The Architecture: How It Works

• The Core Deposit: Members commit a disciplined monthly baseline of £20 to their digital vaults. There's no mandatory Direct Debit — you can turn on automatic monthly payments, or make one-off £20 contributions yourself whenever suits you.
• The Liquid Vault: Your vault balance updates in real time through our monitoring infrastructure, giving you precise visibility over every contribution and reward event. See our Journal for how the Vault works in full.
• The Skill-Gate: Access to reward events is never purchased. Each weekly entry must be earned by passing that week's Skill Test — a three-level assessment where outcome is determined entirely by performance, not chance.
• The Final Trial — Crack the Vault: Passing all three Skill Test trials with a combined score of 6 or higher unlocks Crack the Vault, a live final stage held at a fixed weekly moment. Every qualifying member races the exact same challenge, at the exact same time, for a strictly limited window — the fastest member to complete it wins that week's reveal. If two members finish in an exact tie, the higher combined Skill Test score decides it. There is no separate prize-pool weighting by score — every member who qualifies has a genuine, skill-determined shot at the same outcome.
• One Week, One Chance: Each week provides a single opportunity to earn an entry. If you fail the Skill Test, that week's entry is not carried over and a new test unlocks the following week.
• The £5 Monthly Allocation: Your £5 unlocks one Skill Test opportunity in each weekly cycle that month, helps cover the cost of running your Vault account (the secure, interest-earning account your £15 is designed to be held in) and supports the weekly prize pool and participation infrastructure. Many accounts charge members a fee for access to better interest rates, and the £5 plays a similar role here. A single monthly contribution unlocks several weekly opportunities, not just one. The Vault's banking and safeguarding arrangement is still being finalised ahead of launch. Passing each week's Skill Test is what earns your entry into that week's reveal, independent of the contribution itself.
• The Collective Prize Pool: As the community grows, consistent earned entries build a scalable, collective prize pool.

If You Don't Win

Passing the Skill Test only guarantees your entry into that week's Crack the Vault stage — it doesn't guarantee a win. If you don't finish fastest that week, nothing else changes: your £15 Vault balance is untouched, and a new Skill Test unlocks the following week for another shot.

Withdrawals & Cancelling

• Withdrawing: Your £15 Vault balance is designed to be accessible — you can withdraw it at any time, subject to standard processing times. The £5 monthly allocation (unlocking one Skill Test opportunity per weekly cycle and helping cover the cost of running your Vault account) is applied and supports that week's prize pool the moment it's confirmed, so it isn't itself withdrawable.
• Cancelling: You can turn off your monthly standing order at any time from your account settings. This stops future £20 payments; your existing £15 Vault balance remains yours regardless.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to join The Twenty. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to hold an account.

Squads

Members can group into ten-person squads. When all ten stay active, the squad qualifies for a shared £5,000 Squad Share if one of its members wins that week's reveal — one winner takes the main prize, the whole squad shares in the outcome. Getting Started

• Join the waitlist and be notified when sign-ups open.
• Set up your £20 minimum monthly contribution — automatic or one-off, whichever suits you.
• Each week, take that week's Skill Test to earn your entry. A free training mode lets you build familiarity before it counts for real.
• Pass with a combined score of 6 or higher out of 9 and you qualify for that week's Crack the Vault stage.
• Whatever happens that week, your Vault balance carries on regardless — there's no losing streak that touches your savings.

Keeping It Fair

Because qualification and outcomes both depend on genuine performance rather than chance, keeping the process fair matters. The Skill Test is monitored by proprietary client-side and server-side integrity checks, and any attempt to manipulate the test environment — including navigating away from the test window or opening browser developer tools — triggers an automatic fail state. Weekly reveal results are being designed to be independently and publicly verifiable: anyone will be able to recompute the winning attempt's server-recorded timing from its raw start and finish timestamps on our public verification page, without needing to take our word for it.

Common Questions

• Is there a limit on how much I can save? No — you're never capped at £20. Additional voluntary deposits can be added to your Vault at any time, on top of your standard monthly contribution.
• What happens if I miss a month? There's no mandatory Direct Debit, so a missed month simply means no contribution or Skill Test opportunity that month — your existing Vault balance isn't affected.
• Can I leave at any time? Yes — you can turn off your monthly standing order at any time from your account settings, with your existing Vault balance remaining yours regardless.
• Do I need to be good with numbers or trivia to pass the Skill Test? No — the trials test memory, pattern recognition and composure under time pressure, not specialist knowledge, and every member sits the same three trials under the same conditions.
