Terms of Service
1. Regulatory Context & Banking Framework
The Twenty is a financial technology platform, not a bank. We intend to provide Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) infrastructure, clearing, and payment processing via a regulated banking partner. Once that safeguarding arrangement is finalized, primary capital deposited into digital vaults will be held in FCA-compliant safeguarding accounts (CASS 15), segregated from our own operational funds and held in accordance with the applicable safeguarding requirements through our regulated banking partner. Eligible funds may then be protected under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £120,000 per depositor, subject to eligibility. This safeguarding arrangement is not yet active.
2. Reveal Mechanics & Earned Entry System
The Twenty operates a skill-based reward model. Entries are earned exclusively through performance on the Skill Test — a three-level assessment in which outcome is determined by the participant's performance, not by chance. There is no separate prize-pool weighting by score: every member who passes with a combined score of 6 or higher (out of a maximum of 9) qualifies for that week's Crack the Vault stage on equal terms, and that stage's outcome is decided by completion speed, with ties broken by the higher combined Skill Test score.
- Earned Entries Only: Users cannot buy entries. Passing the Skill Test is the only way to earn an entry into any weekly or milestone reveal.
- Skill Determines Outcome: A combined Skill Test score of 6 or higher qualifies a member for that week's Crack the Vault stage. Skill level does not weight or influence prize allocation beyond this qualification threshold — every qualifying member has an equal, genuine shot at that week's reveal, decided by completion speed with ties broken by the higher combined score.
- One Week, One Attempt: Each weekly Skill Test may only be attempted once. If the user fails, no entry is granted for that week. A new Skill Test unlocks at the start of the next weekly cycle.
- Skill-Gate Requirement: Passing the Skill Test is a mandatory prerequisite for qualification. Without passing, no entry is granted.
- Anti-Cheat Defences: The Skill Test is monitored by proprietary client-side and server-side integrity checks.
- Automatic Invalidation: Any attempt to manipulate the test environment triggers an automatic fail state, including navigating away from the test window or opening browser developer tools.
