How The Twenty's Vault Works
The Vault is the saving component at the heart of The Twenty.
Under the current model, members contribute £20 a month, with £15 allocated to their personal Vault.
The idea is straightforward:
While the weekly competition creates excitement and opportunity, the Vault creates a financial foundation.
Why call it a Vault?
The name is intentional.
A vault represents:
- Security
- Protection
- Value
- Long-term thinking
- Something worth building
The Twenty uses the Vault as a symbol of the financial habit it wants members to develop.
Every month, part of your contribution is building something that belongs to your financial journey.
How much goes into the Vault?
Under the current model:
£20 monthly contribution
£15 → Personal Vault
£5 → Wider Twenty ecosystem and prize mechanism
That means the Vault allocation represents:
- £180 per year
- £900 over five years
- £1,800 over ten years
- £3,600 over twenty years
These are simple contribution figures and do not represent a guaranteed future balance or investment return.
Does the Vault earn interest?
That depends on the final structure and the financial arrangements supporting the Vault.
Any applicable interest, investment growth, fees or other charges will be clearly explained in the applicable terms.
The Twenty should never imply that a particular return is guaranteed unless it actually is.
Can I withdraw money from my Vault?
The exact withdrawal rules will depend on the final Vault structure and applicable terms.
Before joining, members should be able to understand:
- When withdrawals are permitted
- Whether there are any restrictions
- Whether fees apply
- How long withdrawals take
- Whether there are minimum or maximum amounts
- How the money is held
- What protections or safeguards apply
These details are important because the Vault is a central part of The Twenty's proposition.
Why is the Vault important?
Imagine two scenarios.
In the first, you participate in a competition and don't win. You walk away with nothing.
In the second, you participate in a model where part of your monthly contribution is allocated to your personal saving component.
The experience is fundamentally different.
The Twenty is designed around the second idea.
The weekly prize is an opportunity.
The Vault is the foundation.
The Vault isn't a shortcut to wealth
It is important to keep expectations realistic.
£15 a month isn't going to transform your finances overnight.
The value comes from consistency.
£15 becomes £180 over a year.
£180 becomes £900 over five years.
And over longer periods, regular contributions can become meaningful.
The Vault is about building the habit first.
Security and transparency
Because the Vault involves people's money, transparency is essential.
The final arrangements should clearly explain how member funds are held, what protections apply, who provides the relevant financial services and what happens if circumstances change.
The Twenty's terms will provide the definitive information.
The philosophy behind the Vault
The Vault represents a simple principle:
Don't just chase the big prize. Build something for yourself along the way.
That's why the Vault sits at the heart of The Twenty.
