Responsible Participation

1. Our Approach

The Twenty is built as a savings product first. £20 a month is the minimum — of that, £15 stays in your Vault, always yours regardless of outcome, and £5 unlocks your weekly Skill Tests and helps cover the cost of your Vault account, with qualification for that week's prize pool decided by a skill test rather than chance. Anything you contribute above £20 goes entirely into your Vault. Even so, we want every member to participate in a way that's genuinely comfortable for them.

2. Guidance For Members

• Only commit what you can comfortably afford as part of your normal monthly budget. Your £20 minimum — and anything extra you choose to add — should never come from money set aside for essentials, debt repayments, or funds you can't spare.
• Never borrow money, use credit, or dip into other savings to fund your contribution.
• Treat the £5 monthly allocation as spent the moment each weekly opportunity it provides is used — while your Vault genuinely holds your £15 (plus anything you've added above the £20 minimum), the £5 covers Skill Test access, helps cover the cost of running your Vault account and supports that week's collective prize pool, and isn't refunded if you don't qualify or don't win that week.
• You're always free to pause. Turn off your standing order at any time from your account settings, with no penalty and no impact on your existing Vault balance.
• If participating ever stops feeling comfortable, we'd rather you paused than kept going out of habit.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to join The Twenty. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to hold an account.

5. How To Complain

If something's gone wrong, email support@the-twenty.co.uk with as much detail as you can — what happened, and when. We'll acknowledge your complaint and work to resolve it as quickly as we can. A full, published complaints procedure will be in place before paid participation launches.
