How Does The Twenty Work?
The Twenty is designed to make the concept easy to understand.
At its simplest:
You contribute £20 a month.
That contribution is divided according to The Twenty's current model, with £15 allocated to your personal Vault and £5 supporting the wider Twenty ecosystem and prize mechanism.
You then have the opportunity to participate in the skill-based side of The Twenty.
Let's break it down.
Step 1: Join The Twenty
You start by becoming a member.
Before participating, you'll be able to review the applicable terms, eligibility requirements and how your monthly contribution is handled.
The aim is to make everything clear before you commit.
Step 2: Contribute £20 a month
Your monthly contribution is £20.
That's:
- £20 per month
- £240 per year
- £1,200 over five years
- £2,400 over ten years
These figures are simple contributions and don't assume any investment return, interest, fees or other changes.
Step 3: Build your Vault
Under the current model, £15 of the monthly contribution is allocated to your personal Vault.
That means the saving element is designed to continue whether or not you successfully qualify for the weekly prize experience.
Your Vault is therefore an important part of the overall proposition.
The precise rules around access, withdrawals, safeguarding and any applicable growth or charges will be governed by the final product terms.
Step 4: Take the Skill Test
The Twenty introduces a skill-based qualification process.
The purpose is to create a route into the weekly experience based on ability rather than simply relying on chance.
The exact format and rules of the Skill Test will be explained to members before participation.
Step 5: Qualify for the weekly experience
Successful participants can progress towards the weekly Crack the Vault experience.
This is where the saving concept meets the competitive element of The Twenty.
Rather than simply selecting a random winner, the experience is designed around skill and participation.
Step 6: The weekly reveal
The weekly reveal is intended to become a defining moment for The Twenty.
It's the moment when the week's qualified participants discover whether they have successfully completed the challenge and whether someone has unlocked the opportunity to win the headline prize.
The experience is designed to feel exciting without losing sight of the underlying saving concept.
Step 7: Build your Squad
The Twenty also has a social dimension.
Members can build or join Squads and experience The Twenty alongside friends, family or other members.
The idea is simple:
Saving doesn't have to be something you do alone.
What happens if you don't win?
This is one of the most important differences in how The Twenty is intended to work.
Your participation in the weekly experience isn't designed to mean that your entire £20 contribution disappears if you don't win.
Under the current model, £15 is allocated to your Vault.
That means the saving component remains an important part of your journey.
Always check the current terms before participating, as the precise structure and operation of the product may change.
The simple version
If you want the entire concept in one sentence:
The Twenty combines a £20 monthly contribution, personal saving through a Vault and a skill-based opportunity to compete for a potentially life-changing prize.
Simple enough to understand.
Big enough to get excited about.
